On Monday 3rd July I was delighted to welcome Taoiseach Leo Varadkar to Ashford Studios, Co. Wicklow which is to become the global hub for FOX Entertainment’s US hit show Next Level Chef. With Gordon Ramsay at the helm, Next Level Chef is a co-production between Studio Ramsay Global and BiggerStage.
This announcement follows a period of growth for international TV production in Ireland to the benefit of local production companies and creative talent. FOX Entertainment has produced over 60 hours of primetime US programming in Ireland in the last 18 months supporting dozens of creative companies and hundreds of jobs.
This is really exciting news for the County and builds on the thriving film industry already established.
